I Finally Wrote an About Page for This Blog
Here’s just a short post/update for ya. I finally got around to writing an ‘About’ page for this blog. It’s something that I’ve been meaning to do for some time now, but for some reason I always struggle talking about myself. And I’ve found that most people are the same way!
Seriously, I’m one of those people that when I’m in a situation where they say “Let’s go around the room and introduce ourselves” I say something like “Uh, I’m Dan…and I like nachos.” I figure no matter what I say, they aren’t really going to know me anyway!
So anyway, you’ll find out a little bit more about me on that About page.

I’ve recently started adding “About Us” pages on all my sites, as this increases the credibility of the site. Another standard important page every site must have is a privacy policy.

Yes, they really do help with credibility, as does the privacy policy. For some reason I just never got around to doing it on this site though!

Sometimes we don’t know how to begin or what to write about ourselves, maybe because we are sort of wary on what our readers might think about what we do and what we are into because we don’t want to sound arrogant, lame or non-sense. But congratulations on your About Page, it’s great!

About pages are something a lot of visitors want, and not giving it to them short sells your site and who you are. Glad to see you did this with your blog. Hopefully you have already seen the benefit of doing so.

Nice to meet you Dan. I’m like you. I never know what to say about myself. I’ve always had a problem tootin’ my own horn. All I can ever think of at first is “I’m from Hawaii…….” and then a long sience as I fumble in my head trying to think of something else to say. I love nachos too - loaded with jalapenos!
