CSS and HTML Help Sheets

For those of you that are just getting involved with HTML and CSS, or even for those of you that have been doing it for some time, here is a really cool little cheat sheet that you can use to remind you of the basic codes to use when setting up your CSS files.

Liquidicity CSS Help Sheet

I have this pinned on my wall and refer to it all the time when I need to remember the exact wording to use in my CSS files.  They also have an HTML sheet that you may find useful as well.  Here’s the link to it:

CSS is really useful and for a very long time I was afraid of it, mostly because the explaniation on the web are just too darn complicated. The cheat sheet is a big help.

Thanks, these are useful. They remind me of the ones you get with Sitepoint books.

It’d be great if they do a CSS3 one as well, or a compatibility sheet.

Hi all you CSS-gurus. I have a question and I have been looking all over for the answer. In CSS you can choose a background image for your site, but is it possible to define an additional image that you want to appear on all pages? I want a gradient as background, and above the gardient I want to place another picture. Is it possible, or does it count as content? (It is content, but since you can use a background image, why not an extra image).

Haha, I remember my early CSS-coding days, I always used to keep open a window of a site which contained all the possible CSS/HTML tags, and I would copy & paste every time I needed it, painstakingly eliminating the other variables that I did not need. I went over to the site and gave the help sheet a look-over–it looks really organized and stuff. I’ll print a copy of it later. Thanks for this! :D
