Business Search Engine Masterseek
I just came across a relatively new search engine out there that can help you find company contact information for companies worldwide. The website is Masterseek. For those of you that might be looking for suppliers, this could be another way of searching. Now, these suppliers do not say on the contact info that they are dropshippers or anything like that (at least not that I’ve seen) so you’ll have to do a little more leg work, but at least it gives you another option of finding potential suppliers.
The site is very easy to use. Just type in either a company name or a product you’re looking for, click the appropriate radio button for ‘Company’, ‘Products’, ‘All’, or ‘Overview’ and you’ll get a list of suppliers that fit that criteria. I’ve been playing around with it and it’s really a very easy site to use. Anyway, I thought this might help some of you that are looking for potential or backup suppliers. I hope it helps!

When selecting dropshipping suppliers for your products of interest, what due diligence would you suggest should be undertaken to ensure that they will be good business partners? What information should you look for to find reputable suppliers who will satisfy the needs of customers that you send to them, especially if a personal site visit/meeting is not possible?

Hi Jabeen,
The are several things that you could do. First of all, I would recommend contacting them and asking some of those same questions. Also you can check out the BBB to see if there is anything about them there. You could also ask them to give you some examples of sites that they dropship for and contact those companies and ask them about their experience. In the end though, it might take a little trial and error to find your best supplier. I know several other site owners that started out with a mediocre supplier but as they kept looking they found better ones. I hope that helps!
