An Easy Way to Save Money Online
A lot of you probably already know about this tip, but I know that there are plenty of you out there that have probably never done this before. So in this post I’m talking to YOU!
An Easy Way to Save $$$
Ok, here’s the deal. When you go to buy something online there is a really easy thing that you can do to save some money. This won’t apply to all sites, but it will apply to most large sites. What you do is this: search for coupon codes.
Let me give you an example from today. I had a domain name that I needed to renew. I was renewing the name through GoDaddy.com and it was going to cost me like $10.88 or so. Well, there is a point on their shopping cart where they show you a summary of your order and there is a box that says “Enter Promotional Code” or something like that. This is an obvious indicator that they must have some codes out there! Now you just have to go and find them

Search for the Codes
Finding codes is very easy. I just went to Google and typed in “godaddy promo codes” and got plenty of sites that have lists of promo codes and what they’ll do for you. On the first site I came do I found one that had a code for getting $3.50 off a domain name renewal. So I took that code, punched it into GoDaddy’s cart system, and I got $3.50 off my domain name.
Uses for This Tip
There are a lot of places you can use this tip. As I mentioned before, most of your large sites will have promo codes that they put out from time to time. Dell, Best Buy, all sorts of places. You can find them by just searching around, or go to sites like RetailMeNot.com and search what they have to offer. Even if you only save $3.50 like I did today, it’s still $3.50 that I didn’t have to spend. I’ll take it!
So there’s your short tip for today. You probably do some coupon clipping when you go to the grocery store, right? Well, here’s any easy to do it online!

That is a good tip - it’s incredible how many sites do have discount codes out there.
It is becoming a problem for the affiliate marketing industry though because affiliates are doing all the hard work, referring customers to sites, only for those customers to search for a discount code just before purchasing the products (and in the process getting the voucher code site’s cookie on their computer).

I always forget until I get to the checkout and see the box to enter one. Luckily I can open a new window and do a quick search.

Useful tip - but you need to be careful sometimes it will have different shipping terms or conflict with a sale item already in your cart. In the current economic environment signing up for the mailing list and waiting a few days will yield a better coupon code than one that will have to share a cut with a site publisher.

I’ve often wondered about that as well. Sometimes they’ll use it as an incentive to sign up for a newsletter or something else, but if they’re just publishing it on the site it seems a little strange to me.

Great tips for easy ways to save money. Anytime I buy ANYTHING online I always do a quick search for possible coupon codes to use with my checkout. I probably save 1k - 2k a year by doing this, some years even more! Great tips.

Fantastic Tip-you can also search for grocery coupons for specific items and save a ton on your budget. I am a huge fan of searching for coupons after I see the “coupon code” box at checkout….

SEO blog - try http://www.dealtaker.com for GoDaddy coupons - I have always found them to have the best selection and the codes work 99% of the time.

Coupon codes are the one of the useful way in saving money online. When ever I need to register a domain I first link for coupon codes and they are easily available with little effort and I usually save about $1 by doing this.

Well, $3.50 is $3.50 that you already saved before hand. Just imagine if you can always get $3.50 for every renewal. You can eventually accumulate all your discounts to support your next renewal fee.

Great advice and something every consumer should be making use of. It only takes a few minutes to find a voucher code so it is certainly worth your time and effort for most things you purchase. I personally have been using http://www.vouchercodes.co.uk for a number of years now and I couldn’t tell you how much I’ve saved (on pizza alone!).
