A Review of Online Marketing Strategies to Use
I wanted to take a minute today and talk about online marketing strategies in general, and just give a reminder of all the different things that you could be doing to promote your online business. The fact is that you need to be doing multiple things if you’re really going to see some long term success. So let’s do a quick review of some of the main strategies.
A Tip About Online Marketing Strategies
Below I’m going to review a bunch of different marketing strategies that you can use. I don’t want you to get overwhelmed, but you need to look at your own business model and see how you could take advantage of testing these different strategies. Test, tweak, find what works, and then optimize what works!
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
This is probably the one strategy that everyone is familiar with and want to learn how to do. And for good reason! Who could pass up free traffic, and tons of it if you can get ranked for the right keywords? It’s a great thing!
Some things to be aware of with SEO:
- You have to work on it consistently. Building a link here and there won’t cut it.
- You need to keep up on the industry. Algorithm updates, outdated techniques, and other things change in the SEO world all the time. Keep up on changes.
- Be willing to put in the time to get it done, or hire it out. This is not a quick process!
SEO is great, but you really need to be aware that it takes time and effort before you’ll see results with it. But because it can generate so much traffic, it is something you should learn how to do.
Social Media Marketing (SMO or SMM)
Social media optimization and marketing is one of the newer online marketing strategies, but it can be a great way to bring in additional traffic, get exposure, and links. Use sites like StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, Facebook, and others to increase your exposure and traffic.
Pay Per Click (PPC)
This is one of the online marketing strategies that I find a lot of people are afraid of. At least they’re afraid of spending a lot of money without even knowing it. Well, these days you pretty much have to set up budgets and protections so that you don’t spend more than you’re comfortable with.
But in an overall strategy, this is one you’ll want to learn how to do and at least use from time to time. This is for a couple of reasons:
- You can get traffic faster with PPC than you can with SEO
- You can do really good testing with PPC
- You can target more phrases with PPC than you can with SEO
So you see, there are some really good reasons to use PPC as one of your main strategies. Learn the basics of how to do it because with knowledge and then action you can eliminate the fear of doing it!
Shopping Networks
If you’re running a retail business, whether it be with your own warehouse or through dropshipping, this is one you should look into. Simply put, there are a lot of sites out there that shoppers are already using to find good deals. These include Amazon.com, Shopzilla.com, Shop.com, Shopping.com, Google Base, and others. Most of these run of a PPC-like program, but some are even free like Google Base. Check them out since they can really bring you some targeted customers!
Joint Ventures
This is one online marketing strategy that can really be put to good use early on in your business. Here’s a basic example of a joint venture: Let’s say you have a site that sells fitness products. Well, what if you went and found a popular fitness blog and made them an offer where you would give them a promo code that they can give to their readers. If any of their readers use that code on your site you’ll split the profit with them.
So you get the benefit of having a popular blogger talk about your site, and also recommend that their readers buy from you. All you have to do is be willing to share the profit with them! There are plenty of other ways to use this strategy. Be creative!
Email Marketing
You’ve all heard by this time I’m sure of the value of building a list. Have a newsletter that you send out every week or two, but make sure that you’re giving out valuable content and not just advertisements. This is a great way to keep in touch with current and potential customers. It gives you the chance to have multiple touches with these people.
Final Thoughts About Different Online Marketing Strategies
So there you have a short list of some of the different things you can do to promote your site out there. This is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of all the things you can do, but this should get you started. Think about your site and model, and think about which of these approaches could work for you. For example, if you have an affiliate site you won’t really be able to use shopping networks the same way a retail site would.
My hope is that after reading this post you understand that there is more to do than just SEO. Use some of these other online marketing strategies. As mentioned before do some testing to see what works for you. Then make the most of it!

I do wonder if I’ll ever get the chance to move on to dabbling in PPC. I hear some great things about it, but I also hear how beginners can sometimes make some painful (cashwise) mistakes. :O

In order to avoid significantly mismanaging your PPC spend, you need to really monitor it. But a daily limit on your spend, and understand what you want to get out of your spend. Manage and measure it and know how much that particular action is worth to you. If you are using PPC to drive signups for your e-mail newsletter, then you want to keep the spend low, because the value of the desired action is low. But if you are selling a high value subscription, then it may be worth a higher spend to get your desired action. Just think and measure and you won’t make a mistake.

useful tips there. But not only do this until you get the rankings you want, you need to keep going with these methods, otherwise your competitors will overtake you. It’s a very big game, especially for keywords like Search Engine Optimisation and Web Design.

I have always wanted to do PPC for my sites but have never tried it. I think you are right. there seems to be some unknown apprehension about losing money. But I just wonder if we are bothered about the pennies and missing the pounds in this thought process. So I might just give it a try.
Regarding joint ventures, it is a good idea but you need to be the merchant yourself. With an afiliate site isn’t possible.

For email marketing do you need to get the persons permission before sending out emails as in get them to sign up on your website, or would you recommend buying lists.

I can understand why some session attendees resisted the idea that they need to get permission first. Many were new to email marketing but worked with other channels — print, radio, TV or direct mail – that don’t demand that you get permission first.

Author is right, SEO tooks more time, than, for example, PPC. But for those, who have not enough money to pay for promotion, SEO is good way to improve position of their sites

SEO pays dividends for a long time, PPC is simple campaign-based marketing. Better to invest in fundamental SEO (better value) than short term PPC spend.

I would almost consider replacing email marketing with a blog. Email marketing is a lot of interruption while a blog is permission based. Blogging done right can have profound effects on your traffic as well as free joint ventures. Write a worthy blog and bloggers might blog about your blog and link back to you.

In order to effectively market your website you need a niche (a target audience) and then you need to utilize all of the above described methods of online marketing. The ones I have found most helpful in bringing new traffic to my website are SEO (optimize all your pages and build links) and SMM (start a facebook/myspace for your site). Good luck!
[Reply]
Your tips are quite useful but…how hard is to accomplish what you describe! Being a blogger is a rather hard work. You have to keep your blog updated with posts and comments, update its code, pay attentions to where Google place it and publicize it! The best thing i can think of is go viral in a way that you have to work as less as possible!
[Reply]
Another key area in website marketing and branding is the use of social media. Social networking websites provide a much quicker alternative to traditional search engine traffic which is much more difficult to achieve. An effective social media marketing strategy can be implemented within a relatively short time and help establish your brand.

Hi Dan,
Perfect list.
The only word of caution I would add is to those readers that have adsense on their sites, too much social traffic will kill your CTR. This is because in general socia traffic does not click ads.

Yeah, social traffic is a CTR killer.. Organic traffic is the best.. that’s why I prefer working on SEO.
I wonder if there is a script for blogspot who hides the adsense ads to social traffic.. :/

It is important to create limits and caps for each PPC managed keyword. You must also determine how much each visitor or customer is actually worth to you to decide how much money you may spend on PPC without losing money overall. Some people think of PPC as a slot machine where you put money in and cross your fingers, but with some solid research and analysis you can tilt the odds drastically in your favor.

Though you touched on the concept briefly when you talked about joint ventures.. affiliates can do wonders to your website’s sales if product is good and a decent comission is offer to affiliates. It also gives you a lot of branding because affiliates will either put up your banners or write review about your website to make people click on affiliate links.
Another strategy that works is ‘contests’. They do well in most niche including gaming, technology, internet, automobile etc.

Marketing on social media websites is probably the most growing area and the one to watch for in 2009 as a search engine marketing tool. Marketing using social media is not only more effective than other forms of search engine optimisation techniques but also brings results much quicker. An effective social media campaign can start to show results within a month or two. This is something hat would not be possible using traditional SEO techniques to market a website.

Nice review on online marketing strategies. Social networking marketing, SEO and email marketing are good strategies to improve your online marketing. Your article is good.
[Reply]
I learn a lot of strategies from here, thank man thank will look forward on your next post
[Reply]
I prefer article marketing and search engine optimization the most. These have helped me in the past.
[Reply]
These are great tips. A combination of all of them is necessary to avhieve good rankings and traffic. Each one alone could go a long way, but a combination of all of them is the way to go.
[Reply]
useful tips, thanks for the information. i think also even after you achieve your goals for rankings and traffic you have to keep going to keep up your desired numbers.
[Reply]
I am currently using CPC mainly adwords for traffic. Search engines are giving me free hundred visitors per month
[Reply]
Some good advice here. My experiance is that if you use an e-commerce package such as oscommerce, make sure you use the best SEO mods( ultimate SEO mod is best) .
Then simply build alot of backlinks up slowly, this will boost your ranking as good as any SEO can.
[Reply]
You should write an entire article about Shopping Networks. That is a great way to obtain very targeted traffic to your site. Terrific post, great info and easy to read.
[Reply]
Thanks for the things i never even thought about.
[Reply]
This is a pretty decent post. Comprehensive and to the point.
[Reply]
Nice post. I do focus on SEO but I recieve a lot of traffic from social book marking and my email newsletter as well. If you want real traffic you have to learn to utilize every option available to you.
[Reply]
No marketing guru would share his ultimate secret. True you can scrape off some basics. But the true and ultimate weapon will always be hidden and can be uncovered only by trial and errors
[Reply]
This is a great overview. I think the big issue is trying to figure out which strategies are going to mean most to individuals. People can spend a lot of time and money on one or the other strategy without success if they don’t know where to start.
[Reply]
Nice approach use here and these tools are so helpfull too
[Reply]
Hi!
Accidentally trapped to this page by google search.

Good advice. You’re right, being persistent with SEO work is very important!
[Reply]
Amazing… this site will be my refference…
[Reply]
Such a good site. I Like it
[Reply]
Regarding link building, briefly mentioned in the posting, there’s a lot that can be done that naturally integrates with other company marketing and reputation management. For example, online giveaways, charity events sponsored by the company (like a fun run for a worth cause), or sponsorship of community events (with photos) can 1) provide a lot of good content and links for the company blog and 2) serve as worthy reputation management content.
[Reply]
Lovely blog …it is really helpful. I would want to thank the author for writing this article.
I really appericiate your ideas & i am totally with it.
I want to congratulate the writer that you gained a new reader
[Reply]
thanx for sharing this great information…thanx
[Reply]
Great advice here. PPC is useful for testing and traffic, but won’t increase your rankings. For that, good SEO is really the only answer.
[Reply]
Great post!.. very interesting reading thanks. I shall bookmark this site!!
[Reply]

@Costa Dorada
I have heard a lot of people kill their AdSense on everything except search traffic to keep their quality scores up.
[Reply]
A large part of SEO is link building, which can be a time consuming activity. But persistence will pay off, we have seen page 1 rankings as a result of our link building.
[Reply]
Very educational article. Continue podderzhiat your blog.
[Reply]
Thank you for this nice list. I will try some of this tips!
[Reply]
I think it is all too easy to focus too much on a single strategy. We all need to be reminder there are always other was of driving traffic to our websites./
[Reply]
You didn’t mention affiliate marketing. Not something I’ve much experience in but surprised not see it mentioned.
[Reply]
Well. Thanks for information friend. Some of them are new for me and interesting to know your next post.
[Reply]
Very good posting. A lot of good info here. You’re right when you say it takes consistency to get anywhere with SEO.
[Reply]
Nice post…..Gives you a insight about the marketing and how to sell products to our customers.I believe this is the trust that we need to build up with our readers and our customers…when it to marketing and sales , there has to be trust and mutual responsibility.
[Reply]
I like the idea,it’s very social networky and the bonus is that your link will stay up there longer, than it would with digg. Thanks for the tip.
[Reply]
Great summary. Condensed and to the point. You are right, ecommerce owners should use multiple techniques. It’s silly to only focus on one. I think the best long term strategy is SEO, but it seems to be the riskiest as well since you are at the mercy of the algorithms.
[Reply]

This list seems a bit skewed towards retail or b2c. Any ideas on how to make this applicable to b2b?
[Reply]
The highest sales conversion based on what I’ve experienced so far is by email marketing. There really is money in the list.
[Reply]
Yeah SEO will get you a lot of new traffic but it requires a lot of constant work. You should calculate if you woudn’t make more money in the same ammount of time in other ways.
[Reply]
Thanks for the information. Internet marketing can attract more people to your website.
[Reply]
i totally agree with you that these things you need to careful of before investing…reviews should be here for online marketing…great ideas….i think you must be from this field from a long time appreciate your knowledge

There’s so many online marketing strategies that I end up choosing only a few and making sure that it’s done properly. It all gets a bit overwhelming, but the most people should really work on is SEO. Once you get this right, you have FREE traffic constantly without you having to do much else or pay for other web promotion.
[Reply]
You always have such great information to share on here; thank so much for keeping the great writing coming! Social networking can really do wonders for increasing traffic and all the work put in them is well worth it in the end.

Great suggestions here. I will definitely be trying some of them out. Thanks.

I never knew of these options before vreading this post. thank for letting know of all these and also providing a comparative account of all the options.
[Reply]
okay-
I am going to go in a different direction than the replies I read. There is no real meat in this post. The general concepts are good, but there is no meat for any of your readers who would like to implement any of the concepts. Give them a little more meat and you could really win them over.
[Reply]
An online presence is hard to maintain; however, it is worth it. Keeping yourself marketed online-even though time consuming-increases your traffic and thus your business by leaps and bounds.
[Reply]
These are great tips. What are your thoughts about creating a forum on a site? Do you think it will provide more traffic and increase sales?

good post.I appreciated it.thanks for the post.
[Reply]
I agree about backlinks to a degree. Without good quality backlinks, it is harder to rank higher, and get up to the better traffic on the first page of google for your keywords.
It is time consuming and sometimes hard work, but you do have the option to outsource some of your tasks. SEO is ever changing, but permanent backlinks have staying power through it all.
[Reply]
It’s really helpful.I think you must be from this field from a long time appreciate your knowledge.thanks.
[Reply]
A very helpful post here. Two things work hand-in-hand. High quality original content and getting back links to your site.
Dan, keep posting more tips.
[Reply]
I have been using Twitter lately and have to say its just remarkable the amount of targeted traffic you can drive in from there if you use the right tools.
[Reply]
It does take a lot of time and commitment to get your SEO or SMM climbing, but when you start getting the right tools going (like Digg, Technorati, Twitter…) the traffic with start to increase, along with your business!
[Reply]
I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the good work. Look forward to reading more articles from you in the future.

Online Marketing Strategies can be so very important to follow, especiall if you are just starting a business and are starting your online presence from the bottom.
[Reply]
Though a lot of people forget to do it, SEO and keyword links can really boost your rankings but you also have to get yourself out there where others can find you so you start generating traffic; that is the other piece to the puzzle.
[Reply]
Great reading material for everyone as soon as we get back to the office after too many mince pies, nice work.
[Reply]
When we speak about online marketing everything is obvious but the case is not what to use but how intensively the case should be and it depends on stuff we do.

[Reply]

I have been trying PPC but its too expensive so the best thing is to mix all this stuff…

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is probably the best bet. But you could also use PPC if you would want to have fast results. Thanks for the reviews!
[Reply]
Very Good Article on Online Marketing Strategies. Keep it up.
[Reply]
Great list of strategies!.. thanks
[Reply]
I use all of those except PPC and shopping networks. I do participate in joint ventures, but nothing like the gurus do. My preferred methods are social bookmarking, social networking, article marketing, and video marketing on Adwido, which welcomes commercial content moreso than YouTube.
[Reply]
I have been practicing a few of these, and just got done reading your 80/20 time optimization. I tried commenting on that one, but was having errors. This one has given me even more ideas, and your 80/20 post helped me identify how to turn the 20% into 100% and stop wasting time. After all, for internet marketing … 99% of us know how to do it. We just don’t do it. Keep reading and reading thinking that we need to know more, and never actually accomplish anything. Thanks for the great posts!
[Reply]
im up to do E business. it is simple and complex. hard to say but what i need do is to see more and think more. experience is very important.

Though PPC can be fantastic for your traffic and flow, ultimately the best thing is to have fantastic SEO for your site, and to make sure you are keeping fresh content going so Google gives you more credit. It seems a new thing for getting more Google credit are photo blogs-we will have to see how they do with boosting page rank and search results.

“Have a newsletter that you send out every week or two, but make sure that you’re giving out valuable content and not just advertisements.”
Absolutely. Avoid the temptation to send out emails that, to the recipient, basically say little more than “come to my site and spend money.” A newsletter should be short, to keep the readers’ attention. It should provide some real value, even if that’s little more than a very short article of interest or a few links to existing articles of interest. Then toss in something about a special your running at your site (worded so that the reader sees value in it - not just you getting the value).

“Social media optimization and marketing is one of the newer online marketing strategies, but it can be a great way to bring in additional traffic, get exposure, and links.”
When used correctly, social media tools can definitely help you widen your network or clientbase. It also pushes you to think out of the box when coming up with marketing strategies.
“This is one of the online marketing strategies that I find a lot of people are afraid of. At least they’re afraid of spending a lot of money without even knowing it. Well, these days you pretty much have to set up budgets and protections so that you don’t spend more than you’re comfortable with.”
Pay per click can get tricky, especially to novices. Effective ads should be able to grab the interest of the readers.

Nice, but i do not understand what is “Email Marketing”?
[Reply]
Another solid article!. Mrmrmr, email marketing is a tactic in which you send a list of current customers or potential customers either a newsletter, coupon, news update in the form of an email. This is why it is so important to collect email addresses if you have a lead gen form on your website. Email marketing is a very inexpensive way to reach out to a large group of people on a regular basis.

SEO is the most efficient strategy. It offers the best ROI.
Social Media can bring a huge amount of traffic, but it’s not targeted…therefore is useless.
[Reply]
Excellent run down in different ways to promote your site. I think Social Media is on the rise at the moment so we are putting a fair bit of effort into that. I do agree though that SEO currently provides us with the best ROI as does PPC for our market.

Yes! Good points, well laid out - I like the way you write. And I’m a big fan of SEO and sometimes forget that PPC is useful, especially for testing or for quick “wins.” Thanks for sharing - and appreciate the comments from others, too.

Successful online marketing takes know-how about and dedication to SEO and other programs. Is there any way to go back to the time when rankings were nonexistent and we were all ranked based on pure organic content?
[Reply]
Multiple sources are reporting Facebook is testing “Facebook Lite” - what some are calling a Twitter version of Facebook. Mashable, RWW have more, TC got an official response from Facebook, which makes it sound like it’s not a Twitter competitor. Interesting. Reminds me of my prediction on the two companies back in January..

You can get traffic faster with PPC than you can with SEO
But online marketing is not an overnight success. Although PPC ensures fast result, SEO is said to be the one that ensures success. What would you say on this?
[Reply]
“Be willing to put in the time to get it done, or hire it out. This is not a quick process!” - very true. In my experience (as an SEO professional), it takes too much time to properly manage your company’s SEO initiatives AND run your business. Ironically, when I was running my own SEO shop, I had nary a minute to devote to actually promoting our own sites in the search engines via SEO methods. It was a good thing in a sense, because it meant we had many clients, good revenue figures, etc., but it was frustrating to *not* rank for terms that I knew we should (and could) just because there weren’t enough hours in the day. So, for those who want to do anything beyond the most basic SEO for their own sites/companies, I’d recommend hiring it out if you don’t have at least 3-4 hours a day (and no, I’m not in the SEO business anymore).
[Reply]
Personally I don’t think people are afraid of Pay Per Click, they just don’t fully understand the setup and keyword research that is required for it to be effective and as a result they tend to waste a lot of money which in turn puts them off PPC.
[Reply]
Article Marketing is also effective, but he catch is you must have a good article that will get the attention of the readers.

Great post! IMO The best technique for free traffic is SEO. I use SEO to get traffic, and I keep most of those leads by capturing their e-mail address. It’s kinda like a SEO, e-mail marketing combo
Also PPC is great. But it’s not free and it can quickly get out of hand if you don’t monitor your campaigns closely.
Keep up with the good work!

Working on your internet or better known as online marketing strategy is really a moving target as things are always changing and it seems like you are always playing catch up!
That being said it is a lot like insurance one of those necessary evils but a lot more fun!
[Reply]
I have always wanted to do PPC for my sites but have never tried it. I think you are right. there seems to be some unknown apprehension about losing money.
[Reply]
With ppc there is a better control of conversions etc. In my opinion it´s not senseful to create a landingpage for every low traffic keyword combination. It´s much better to use pps-campaigns instead.

Great Post! the info is very fabulous.
The best way if you want to make money right away is to join a marketing company. Im with Global Domains International.

Thanks for the tips. Got an answer from here. I will bookmark this for reference.

People also should consider that different marketing techniques are better suited for different business models. For example, I am a lawyer with a relatively unknown and non-repeating client base, in that I don’t know who my clients will be until they need me, and once their case is completed, they rarely need me again.
So, e-mail campaigns are useless to me. However, SMO and SEO are highly useful to me, as I need to be able to be found in the right place at the right time.

What is easiest way to draw up a marketing strategy for a small online business?
Is it not as simple as SEO’s, a bit of offline advertising ( flyers) and a few adverts out on the net?

Great post for a great article. Got an idea from here.

So very true what you say. You do need to keep working on it and don’t expect results over night. Sometimes it can take months before you notice results and that’s only from creating links all the time. Although PPC has worked and does work for many at a profit, it is still something I am studying as much as possible.

This is a good post. There are so many strategies that one can implement for your website. And don’t forget the offline strategies too!
I would say that SEO and PPC are right at the top of the tree in terms of importance as they can bring in huge amounts of targeted traffic if done correctly.
Email marketing is massively important as well, because if you can build a targeted list, you are pretty much set for life if you treat your list well.
Great post1

Very nice list of an overview of Internet marketing strategies. It is amazing how simple the process looks; however, I’ll bet that if you ask anyone that has been doing it awhile and is successful they will tell you different.
It is hard work and you have to stay on your toes and adapt with the changes thrown at you from all directions.
[Reply]
I’m really into getting traffic from the search engines, but as you say paid traffic through ppc services like adwords are faster for generating the kind of traffic you need for a succesful business, the only negative is that you have to pay for it!
[Reply]
hey, thanks…
Nice points here and what I could add is try to be consistent with what your IM campaigns, persistent and continuous. Try not to forget ethical aspects of what your online marketing campaigns.

There are so many things needed to know about internet marketing, but, I emphasize more upon SEO, backlinkings, and email marketing.

I would almost consider replacing email marketing with a blog. Email marketing is a lot of interruption while a blog is permission based. Blogging done right can have profound effects on your traffic as well as free joint ventures. Write a worthy blog and bloggers might blog about your blog and link back to you.

Thanks for the post - Yes SEO is a great thing, but it takes time

So if you are really interested in taking your business to a new level, then online marketing is the choice for you!

I would be interested in hearing more from anyone that has actually used Pay-Per-Click effectively and actually made it work for them. I read a lot of information about how to make it work, but when I have used it, I can’t even get my ad to show up! And that is for a low competition keyword. To give an example, I might target a keyword that has 1 or 2 ads showing up for it, so my thought is I can bid the lowest possible bid and I should show up 3rd, right, as long as my ad is relevant, and it is. But I don’t show up. I then bump up my minimum bid to say $1.00, and still don’t show up.
I have a theory that Google and the other search engines have changed the rules to keep the “little guy” out, knowing that the small budget marketer can’t afford to spend a ridiculous amount of money to get 1 click that will probably amount to nothing.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
[Reply]

My sister came across a great money earner last year, and now her blogging efforts for the first time are fruitful.
She made $61,000 working as an online recruiter for Linda Christas Academy/College.
They pay her $500 for every student who enrolls in a program and $1,000 stipend if the student enrolls in an entire curriculum.
Both franchise fees and training fees have been eliminated now that Linda Christas can afford to provide those services to recruiters for free.
The College doesn’t recruit recruiters. Their attitude is if a person is not a sufficient self starter to contact them, they won’t contact others online either.
All my sister Sherry did was contact them. They wanted to see her blog, and her writing style. After all, they are a college and can’t be having someone who is out of control or who can’t write represent them.
But, after that, she was accepted and thinks she is in online heaven, since she can actually make a good living from home now.
Employers are now preferring online college grads because if a person is self motivated to finish a degree that way, employers believe that is proof positive that the person is a self starter and mature. Makes sense to me.
Might be something someone here would like to try.
First step, contact the College. Their e-mail is careers@lindachristas.org

The field of search engine optimization (SEO) is a highly competitive one so it’s nice to have a service like LinkWheeler who are experienced and clearly know what they are doing. I’ve been doing lots of SEO research lately. I am definitely learning a lot. Would you say that SEO seems to have a longer lasting effect on traffic getting?
PPC, Social Media and Email Blasts to me seem to have a shorter window of traffic generation if you are not constantly paying for campaigns, active with social media, and always sending out blasts, would you agree?

I think SEO strategy is the best among all to bring more traffic and increase back links.I know more about SEO that Search Engine Optimization, SEO for short, is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (”organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.
SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site optimum web presence. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, SEO tactics may be incorporated into web site development and design.
The term “search engine friendly” may be used to describe web site designs, menus, content management systems, images, videos, shopping carts and other elements that have been optimized for the purpose of search engine exposure.
Though i am using facebook, twitter and stumbleupon but giving more emphasis to SEO.Thanks for sharing good strategy for online business.Keep it up your good work.
